Earwigs are nocturnal. They often hide in small, moist crevices, and are very active at night.
Earwigs feed on insects and plants.
Earwigs are not poisonous.
Earwigs prefer coming into your homes for a dry safe place to hide. And usually for food supply.
Earwigs do not cause harm to humans, property or food. They are a nuisance.
Earwig infestations occurs when your home is high moisture content.
Earwigs mature and emerge late May through early June. They remain active through fall. Then
make overwintering nest, then the cycle repeats annually.
